Atmospheric dispersion

Does anyone out there do a lot of atmospheric dispersion modeling in

your spare time? For an instantaneous point source release, where can I

find (or how can I determine) the instantaneous dispersion parameter in

the X direction (sigma-sub-xI)?

Using the Rad Health Handbook 3rd edition, Table 11.3.1.2 provides the

equations. Table 11.3.4 provides values and approximations for

instantaneous dispersion parameters in the Y and Z directions, but not

for the X direction.

Can anyone offer me any insight?

Thanks,

Glenn Marshall
