Electromagnetic fields, radiation and a cat

I see two problems with the cat.

1. One of the more common allergens known - but not everyone is

allergic to cats even in the presence of other allergies.

2. Static electrical fields must not bother these people or they

couldn't go near the beasties in winter. Even holding it up next to

her face like that would produce some charge.

Other points: Are the cabs there diesel? I would think the HV

ignition system for a gas engine would create a problem whether all the

other systems are turned off or not. And what kind of non static

clothing do they wear? I would guess that wool, acrylic, nylon, and

rayon would be a problem but I'm sure I'm missing some.
