Re: Bexxar Treatment
There was some discussion about in-patient treatments
at the Health Physics Society meeting in DC this past,
and the BAXXAR people even had a booth to hawk their
product.
One advantage was that because the I-131 tositumomab
does not behave like NaI, it is retained in the body
longer. The claim is that if you do a patient
specific calculation, you may be able to release the
patient using the guidance found in Appendix of NUREG
1556, VOl 9
