     The bomb shelters have a Civil Defense emblem, which is similar to a
     radiation trefoil.  The 'arms' on a trefoil are arc segments, but the Civil
     Defense emblem has three equilateral triangles overlaid with a circular
     'CD', as I recall it.

     I'm sure the resemblance is not a coincidence.

hopefully the bombshelters that are sportin' the trefoil aren't themselves
hot.  Wouldn't that be considered a use of the trefoil that is acceptable -
even if rad material is not an issue?
