Ion Chambers & Stack Monitoring

Looking for people's experiences with large (~2L) ion chambers 
sampling effluent air streams--typically for tritium.  When the sample 
probe is on a stack or roof, and the ion chamber is in an air 
conditioned space, there can be condensation of water vapor in the 
chamber.  In a word, this is not good. Has anyone run into this problem? 
 If anyone has FIXED this problem, please let me hear from you.
