If they are giving you a choice between a strip search and an x-ray how can
it possibly be for ingested objects?  Unless these strip searchers are more
talented than I thought, an ingested ballon will go undetected.  That can't
be what the x-ray procedure is meant to detect.

You would choose to have a customs official perform a cavity search but you
wouldn't want a hospital to perform a simple x-ray?  No thanks.  I'll take
the x-ray.
