Dental X-ray machines

Greetings all,

I would like to know the effective filtration of a standard dental X-ray
machine. Is there usually Berillium plus some other material (Cu or Al)? Also,
if there is a "standard" filtration package that is generally used (x mm Cu, y
mm Al, etc).

Also, I am under the impression that they generally run between 50 - 80 kVp. Is
this the case?

Any pointers toward established web sites would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Rob
