I was under the impression that estrogen has a radioprotective effect.
Also, I seem to recall that the ICRP has both a "standard man" and a
"standard woman".
This would indicate that there could be some (in)/significant difference
between the concept of a man-Sv, woman-Sv and person-Sv.
Therefore in order to maintain the extremely high precision of data used in
the Health Physics arena, I formally propose that we designate an
international committe to investigate the three highly specific and useful
new quantities mentioned above.
