While I agree with the opinions already expressed that HPs should be paid a

decent wage. I don't think we should rag on this particular employer. At

least they had the decency to post the wage (unglorious as it may be). That

way, everyone can make up their own minds if they want to apply or not.



What bothers me are the ones that don't have the decency to publish a salary

range. That way you spend a week polishing your resume and buying a new suit

just to find out it pays $8/hr.



BTW, my first HP job paid the equivalent of about $21K USD. This was in 1991

and it required a masters degree and I was very glad to get it. Three years

later, I didn't want to work for $21K anymore and I didn't have to. There is

a place for an entry level type of position to get the experience that

employers with $ want.
