Iodine-131 therapy

Dear Colleagues,

 

1. In regard to iodine-131 administration, does anyone follow precautions when dealing with patients who have false teeth or wear contact lenses?   Are the patients asked to remove them and if so,.... for what time period?

 

2. What restrictions or precautions do others follow for discharged patients who may want to hold or cuddle infants?
