Re: 'Sound Science'? Bush close - see data.

Indeed, Steve, DDP holds yearly presentations which would be of great

interest to Radsafe, such as by Luckey, Pollycove, Muckerheide, Singer,

Teller, etc. The programs are at www.oism.org/DDP The next meeting is June

26,27 at San Diego Marriott Mission Valley (airport).

Dr Jane Orient, ExecutiveDirector, persuades many notable scientists to

present current topics on disaster preparedness. They seem to be attracted

by the opportunity to question each other, as can all attending.

Libertarian persuasion seems most common, and there is no connection to the

Bush Adminisration.

Reservations and information are also available at 520-325-2680

DDP has no community outreach, other than the promotion of civil defense,

probably why Teller served on our Advisory Board for many years.

I am honored to have served for 9 years with 8 other Directors, all much

better scientists than myself. I hope to see Radsafers there.
