RE: Re[2]: Open health physics position at NYSDEC



I refer all to the November article in the Newsletter which summarizes the
ORISE assessment of salaries for power and non-power HP's.  The exclusionary
note above the table for the non-power HP's is particularly interesting in
that academic, medical and governmental HP's are not part of the salary
study.  My question is "Why?"  Would those lower salaries skew the results?
Was there insufficient input from those groups to result in a valid tally?
More importantly who's left to compromise that group since it seems everyone
I would expect to be included, is not.
